She completed her medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana. She continued her postgraduate studies in the care of women, children and youth and completed a specialization in pediatrics. She worked in public health for many years, and then in 1992 she co-founded the first private medical center in Ljubljana, where she served as the professional director and head of the pediatrics department for 24 years. In recent years, she has focused her activities on adult prevention and has been studying abroad for many years in the field of preventing the effects of aging (anti-aging).
