He completed his studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana in 2007 and received the Prešeren Award for his research work, and then completed his specialization in orthopedic surgery with honors in 2014. In 2013, he obtained the scientific title of Doctor of Science and the title of assistant at the Department of Orthopedics, Faculty of Medicine, Ljubljana. He actively participates in the education of future doctors, regularly publishes scientific articles and lectures at orthopedic congresses. He is a member of the prestigious international associations Eurospine and AO Spine, where he also participates as a lecturer.
Field of work
He deals with the comprehensive treatment of spinal pathology, including tumor surgery and deformities. He specializes in minimally invasive lumbar spine stabilization (XLIF).
