Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics

Oromaxillofacial Examination

Includes an examination of the face and neck, assessment of temporomandibular joint function, inspection of the teeth and oral cavity, analysis of an orthopantomogram or CBCT scan, and preparation of a specialist report.

Oral Surgery for Adults

Covers various procedures within the oral cavity and teeth. Includes simple or complicated tooth extractions, removal of wisdom teeth or supernumerary teeth, apicoectomies, removal of various oral cavity tumors with histopathological verification, treatment of oral cysts, and clinical crown lengthening. These procedures can also be performed under general anesthesia. Hospitalization is not required in the case of general anesthesia.

Oral Surgery for Children

Includes removal of carious primary or permanent teeth, supernumerary teeth, frenulotomies, open or closed tooth fenestrations, and placement of orthodontic anchors. Procedures are performed under local or general anesthesia. Hospitalization is not required in the case of general anesthesia.

Implantology

Includes the placement of titanium or ceramic implants to replace teeth or anchor dentures, bone grafting or sinus floor augmentation, and the use of blood derivatives (PRP) for improved results.

Orthognathic or Orthofacial Surgery

Includes procedures for the treatment of dentofacial deformities and OSAS. These are orthognathic surgery procedures (BSSO, Le Fort I osteotomy, genioplasty, SARPE). The surgeries are performed under general anesthesia, with hospitalization required for one to two nights at the clinic.

Excision of Skin Lesions on the Face or Neck

With consideration of aesthetic parameters, we remove skin lesions on the face or neck. In cases where there is suspicion of malignancy, samples are also sent for histopathological examination.

No. You can book the examination privately without a referral. The specialist will examine the face and neck, assess the jaw joint, perform an intraoral examination, and analyse an orthopantomogram or CBCT scan. You will receive a written report with a treatment plan.

Before the procedure, we carry out a preoperative examination and laboratory tests. On the day of surgery, the procedure takes about 30 minutes and is performed under short general anesthesia without hospitalization. After two hours of rest, you can go home, and stitches are removed after one week.

Orthognathic (orthofacial) surgery corrects misalignments between the upper and lower jaws that cause difficulties in chewing, speaking, or breathing (including OSAS). A candidate is usually an adult whose jaw growth is complete and for whom orthodontic treatment alone is not sufficient.

Most patients return to light daily activities within 7–10 days after arthroscopic or open TMJ surgery. Full chewing load and sports activities are usually allowed after 4–6 weeks, depending on the type of procedure and individual progress.

If bone height is sufficient, the implant is placed immediately. In cases of insufficient bone, we perform a sinus lift and add a bone substitute (often enriched with the patient’s own PRP plasma). The implant is usually placed after 4–6 months, once the new bone has integrated.
