Regular gynecological check-ups and screening tests are essential for maintaining women’s health. We screen for precancerous changes of the cervix, advise on HPV vaccination and safe sexual practices. In case of suspicious results, we perform colposcopy, hysteroscopy, biopsy, and ultrasound, as well as immediate therapeutic procedures if necessary. Prevention also includes breast examination, teaching self-examination, and discussing the early signs of gynecological cancers. With a personalized approach, we aim to empower women to better understand their bodies and take care of their quality of life.
We address the most common gynecological issues that affect quality of life and overall well-being. These include irregularities and disorders of the menstrual cycle (e.g., heavy, irregular, or painful periods), lower abdominal pain, unusual or unpleasant vaginal discharge, reproductive tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, and pain during intercourse. We also diagnose and treat benign conditions and diseases of the ovaries (cysts, endometriomas), uterus and endometrium (fibroids, polyps, adenomyosis, septa), cervix, as well as vagina and external genitalia (condylomas, polyps, moles, skin changes).
Ukvarjamo se tudi z diagnostiko in zdravljenjem benignih sprememb in bolezni jajčnikov (ciste, endometriomi), maternice in maternične sluznice (miomi, polipi, adenomioza, pregrade), materničnega vratu ter nožnice in zunanjega spolovila (kondilomi, polipi, znamenja, kožne spremembe).
Using advanced, minimally invasive diagnostic methods (biopsy, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, ultrasound, puncture, laparoscopy), we detect precancerous changes and cancers of the reproductive organs in a timely manner: cervix, endometrium, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, and external genitalia.
We pay special attention to early warning signs (unusual bleeding, postmenopausal discharge, bloating, abdominal pressure, changes in bowel or bladder habits, pelvic pain, and unexplained fatigue), which women often overlook. In a safe and supportive environment, we provide quick diagnostics and, if necessary, the involvement of oncology specialists, ensuring early intervention and comprehensive care at all stages of treatment.
In our clinic, we offer professional and individually tailored counselling for choosing the contraception method that best suits your lifestyle, health condition, and preferences. We help you understand the different options – from hormonal pills, vaginal rings, and intrauterine devices to natural methods – and work together to find the solution that will bring you the greatest comfort and safety.
We stand by your side in pregnancy planning, advise you on healthy preparation for motherhood, and provide support in case of fertility issues.
We understand that family planning and choosing contraception are important decisions, so we strive for a friendly, open, and discreet approach, where your concerns and questions are always welcome.
Hormonal balance is essential for the functioning of the reproductive system and for numerous physical and emotional functions. In our clinic, we take a comprehensive approach to treating hormonal disorders at all stages of life – from puberty to menopause. We provide guidance for irregular periods, PMS, painful ovulation, acne, excessive hair growth, as well as weight and mood fluctuations.
During menopause, we assist with hot flashes, vaginal dryness, insomnia, and decreased libido, and, if necessary, introduce hormone replacement therapy with ongoing safety monitoring. Through individualized diagnostics and modern therapies, in cooperation with subspecialists, we identify the cause of the problems and determine the most appropriate treatment.
Urogynecology deals with urinary incontinence, frequent or painful urination, and pelvic organ prolapse. These issues are common after childbirth, during physical exertion, or in menopause, and can significantly reduce quality of life.
Diagnosis is established through a thorough clinical examination, ultrasound, and, if necessary, urodynamic testing. Treatment may include behavioral measures, pelvic floor exercises, medications, or minimally invasive surgical procedures tailored to the individual.
Pregnancy brings numerous physical and emotional changes, which is why our clinic ensures safe monitoring through regular check-ups, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests. We provide individualized advice on nutrition, physical activity, and alleviating common pregnancy discomforts. Between the 11th and 14th week, we perform a combined screening test (nuchal translucency + hormones) and, if desired, a NIPT analysis of fetal DNA for a more accurate assessment of chromosomal abnormalities. Pregnant women at higher risk (diabetes, hypertension, past complications) are monitored more frequently in cooperation with perinatologists. After birth, we support rapid recovery, advise on breastfeeding, monitor hormonal balance, and discuss contraception and sexuality.
Gynecological ultrasound is a key diagnostic tool in modern gynecology. It is an in-depth and dynamic imaging examination of the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other organs and structures of the pelvis and pelvic floor, performed either transvaginally, transabdominally, or transperitoneally. This allows for a precise assessment of anatomy, the relationship between organs and structures, and the detection of various changes. The examination is essential for diagnosing numerous conditions, such as fibroids, polyps, cysts, endometriosis, congenital abnormalities, inflammations, and benign or malignant tumors of the reproductive organs.
With advanced ultrasound techniques, we can now not only detect the presence of changes but also reliably assess their nature – whether they are benign, borderline malignant, or malignant.
The examination is painless, safe, and indispensable for diagnosing gynecological diseases as well as for planning further management and treatment.
In our clinic, we perform a variety of modern, minimally invasive diagnostic procedures that allow for quick, accurate, and safe detection of gynecological changes.
Among the most common methods are colposcopy, vaginoscopy, and vulvoscopy, which provide a detailed assessment of the mucosa of the cervix, vagina, and external genitalia. Another important diagnostic tool is hysteroscopy, which allows us to examine the inside of the uterus. The procedure can also be therapeutic, enabling the immediate removal of polyps, fibroids, septa, or intrauterine devices. In selected cases, we may perform transvaginal ultrasound-guided puncture to obtain fluid or tissue samples for further analysis, or other types of biopsies when suspicious changes are detected in the reproductive organs and pelvis.
Timely diagnosis is crucial, as it enables early detection of changes, prompt treatment, and prevention of disease progression.
In addition to diagnostics, we also perform various targeted therapeutic procedures aimed at treating benign and suspicious changes in the reproductive organs.
In outpatient procedures, we remove changes in the cervix and external genitalia, such as condylomas, pigmented lesions, suspicious formations, or precancerous changes detected during examination or colposcopy.
For changes in the pelvis, such as ovarian cysts, fibroids, or other formations in the reproductive organs, we provide surgical treatment, usually using minimally invasive methods such as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. The minimally invasive approach offers reduced surgical burden, faster recovery with less pain, and a lower risk of complications compared to traditional surgery.
Our goal is safe, professional, and individually tailored care, based on the latest professional guidelines.
