As a specialist in orthopedic surgery, he is employed at the Orthopedic Clinic Ljubljana, where he focuses on the treatment of injuries and diseases of the shoulder and elbow joints. He has received training in the field of arthroscopic and minimally invasive reconstructive procedures at numerous international congresses and centers in Germany, England, France and Spain. He devotes a large part of his work to the treatment of injuries in professional athletes. As an assistant, he participates in the education of medical students at the Department of Orthopaedics of the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana and in the education of physiotherapy students. He is an active member of the European Society for Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Injuries (ESSKA) and the only Slovenian representative in the scientific committee for the development of elbow orthopedics at this association. He also works as a reviewer for the reputable professional journal KSSTA (Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy).
