He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana in 1998. He was employed as a young researcher at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Medical Center in Ljubljana. He specialized in neurosurgery under Prof. Dr. Vinko Dolenc. As a young researcher at the Department of Neurosurgery, he successfully completed his master's degree and then his doctorate. He also passed the European exam in neurosurgery. He continues to receive additional education at European and world congresses and workshops.
Field of work
He deals primarily with pathological processes in the brain and spinal cord, as well as processes associated with pain in the lumbar and cervical spine. In his work, he uses an operating microscope, which allows for the greatest possible transparency and precision of the process.
