\nElectromyography (EMG)\n<\/h1>
\nElectromyography (EMG) is a neurophysiological test that evaluates the function of muscle and nerve fibers. It can be used to assess possible damage to the nerve roots near the spine, the so-called peripheral nerve fibers in the limbs or face, and muscle fibers. The test is performed by a neurologist with special knowledge in electromyography, possibly in collaboration with a neurophysiological assistant. \n<\/div>
