\nPhimosis\n<\/h1>
\nIn phimosis, the foreskin (prepuce) cannot be pulled back normally over the head of the penis. In children, an inability to retract the foreskin can be part of normal development, while in adults it is often linked to scarring, recurrent inflammation or skin conditions of the foreskin such as lichen sclerosus. Symptoms may include pain in the penis, difficult hygiene, recurrent inflammation of the foreskin, genitals or urinary tract, problems urinating, or discomfort and pain during intercourse. Treatment is always tailored to the cause and severity of the problem. In cases of marked scarring, surgery may be considered, most often circumcision.\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>
